View The Where’s Waldo Recorded Webinars, Funded By The 2020 AUR R&E Foundation Venture Fund Grant.

There is an increasingly recognized gap in formal programming for mid and late career faculty. The Where’s Waldo 2020 AUR Venture Fund Grant funded project addresses this gap, and provides a combination of enduring materials and in-person (virtual) activities cultivating continued career success.

A smaller, longitudinal program will be offered to 10 participants through a competitive application process. These small group sessions will involve in-depth mentorship from peers and senior mentors and will focus on areas such as developing as a leader, improving writing and research skills, and business acumen.

Small group curriculum (1 year commitment for the 10 selected applicants):

Mentorship circle consisting of peer mentorship (within the group) and higher level leader mentorship (Vice Chair or Chair level). Meetings via web-conferencing monthly; topics TBD by participant group
     1. Group work on a Coursera course such as negotiation skills (course itself is free of charge, a course certificate is possible)
     2. Research and article writing mentorship, CV analysis: finding personal gaps and guidance on filling them in (group peer activity)
     3. Virtual journal club
